Drawing inspiration from Guangzhou’s legacy as the “City of Flowers,” the Afternoon Tea set captures the beauty of summer through soft floral flavours, fresh berries, and elegant presentation. The journey begins with savoury bites that are bright yet calming. A jade-green osmanthus mochi surrounds a cured duck egg yolk, balancing richness with gentle sweetness from honey and the fragrant aroma of osmanthus. Goat cheese tart infused with chrysanthemum offers a soft, creamy taste that is enhanced by hand-peeled pomelo, creating a refined interplay of textures and flavours, delicate yet full of depth.

The sweet treats evoke the gentle charm of the season. Pistachio cube surprises with a raspberry filling, sharp and bright against the soft green richness, like sunlight flashing through leaves. Beside it, a pine nut tart with blueberry carries a more contemplative note, where nutty depth meets the whisper of berry zest in a slow, unfolding rhythm. The rose parfait opens like a ripple across the senses, where the sweetness of strawberry mingles with the floral bloom of rose, unfolding with each spoonful, inviting, elusive, and endlessly alluring.
