Soar Away This Summer at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire with Two Magical Theatre Performances

This summer, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is inviting guests to experience the magic of the theatre once again with two enchanting performances on the grounds of its estate.

Guests can enjoy the great outdoors as they are transported back in time with Immersion Theatre’s adaptation of the magical Peter Pan and Shakespeare's Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Peter Pan - August 1, 2024

Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire and Immersion Theatre invite guests to soar away to Neverland as they proudly bring their trademark energy to their most magical musical to date, Peter Pan.

Guests can get ready to think happy thoughts and fly high as the mischievous Peter embarks on an awfully big adventure, introducing Wendy Darling to the lost boys, the cheeky Tinkerbell, the hilarious Smee, and a host of other exciting characters before facing the most feared villain of them all, the infamous Captain Hook.

Filled with catchy music, heaps of audience interaction, and a laugh-a-minute script, this hilarious and exciting musical of the boy who never grew up promises to have every member of the family entertained throughout.

Performances last approximately 100 minutes including interval. Suitable for ages 4 plus.

Guests are invited to bring their own low-backed chairs or rugs. Performances will continue in wet weather, so guests are advised to come prepared.

New for 2024, luxury Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire Picnic Baskets will also be available to preorder before the event. Featuring a selection of carefully sourced local ingredients, the new picnic menu features Hampshire trout, creme fraiche, watercress on brown roll; homemade quiche with spinach and mature cheddar; vegan chocolate and raspberry mousse tart. Younger guests (and those young at heart) can also indulge in a Winnie the Pooh picnic, with a Nutella and banana, brioche roll, crudités with hummus dip, and a blueberry and lemon buckle.

Well behaved dogs may also attend the performance but must be kept on a lead.

Free entry for carers if accompanying the person they care for. ID may be required.

Midsummer Night’s Dream - July 16, 2024

An age-old classic, Immersion Theatre and Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire are thrilled to be reviving their acclaimed production of Shakespeare’s funniest, most magical comedy of all: A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

This hilarious adaptation sees Shakespeare’s fantastical characters brought vividly to life as audiences are transported to an enchanting world bursting with magic, romance, and of course, heaps of laugh-out-loud comedy. Four young lovers, a band of hapless actors, and a magical realm populated by mischievous spirits set on causing mayhem at every turn culminate in an unparalleled open-air experience of beauty and hilarity.

Multi award-nominated Immersion Theatre have developed a reputation for producing first class, fast-paced adaptations of Shakespeare’s plays. This is Shakespeare as it’s meant to be: interactive, fun, and highly accessible.

Performances last approximately 110 minutes including interval. Suitable for ages 8 plus.
