Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star Resort on Hawaii Island, is hosting the 26th Anniversary Run for Hope with all proceeds to benefit cancer research.  Four Seasons hotels and resorts have been committed to fighting this cause since the original Terry Fox Run held in 1980, and Hualalai continues this tradition for the community of Hawaii.

From September 6 to 7, 2024, participants are invited to partake in the two-day, action-packed weekend featuring a variety of activities including 5k and 10k run/walks and a keiki dash, ending with tennis, pickleball and golf tournaments.

“We are incredibly proud to host the Run for Hope, in its 26th year here at Hualalai,” says Charlie Parker, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. “As stewards of this island, we are committed to giving back in many ways, including cancer research in coordination with Four Seasons worldwide.”

The weekend kicks off with the popular Taste of Hawaii Island culinary event on Friday, September 6 at 6:00 pm. Featuring talented chefs from across the Hawaiian Islands, guests will enjoy an evening of culinary craftsmanship, drinks, and entertainment by Hawai’i artist Anuhea, accompanied by her world class band. The silent auction is a popular annual highlight that includes unique vacation packages and local products. Advance ticket pricing is USD 125 for adults, USD 45 for children 5-12, and complimentary for children 4 and under.

On Saturday, September 7, the Resort will host a variety of outdoor events. The annual Run for Hope will take place at 7:00 am with a 10K run and 5K run/walk along Hualalai’s beautifully manicured landscape.
