Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star Resort on Hawai’i Island is proud to host the 28th Anniversary Run for Hope with all proceeds to benefit cancer research.  Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have been committed to fighting this cause since the original Terry Fox run held in 1980, and Hualalai continues this tradition for the community of Hawai’i.

Inspired by Terry Fox's courageous Marathon of Hope, his enduring legacy continues through more than 9,000 volunteer-led Terry Fox Runs held worldwide each year. As part of this global movement, Four Seasons employees and their families come together annually to raise funds for vital cancer research, supporting advancements in oncology, genetic research, and advanced studies in leukemia, brain cancer and more.

From September 11-12, 2026, participants are invited to partake in the two-day, action-packed weekend featuring a variety of activities from the Taste of Hawai’i kickoff event, 5k and 10k run/walks and a keiki dash, ending with tennis, pickleball and golf tournaments.

"This year marks the 28th year of hosting the Run for Hope event, a cherished tradition that reflects the heart of Hualalai,” says Charlie Parker, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualālai. “Our efforts to support cancer research continue to make a meaningful impact here in our Hawai’i community, and we are proud to be bringing resources and awareness to such an important cause."
