Ascent Lounge at Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole Receives a Modern Makeover
Mountain modern can best describe Ascent Lounge’s new appeal after its recent redesign. Located inside Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, this slopeside bar, affectionately known as the resort’s living room, boasts creative cocktails and pan-Asian cuisine with a fresh new look.
“The concept was to create a modern living room inspired by the mountains and slopeside views with a layout that lends itself to cosy comfort,” says Ed Gannon, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole General Manager.
New York’s Wimberly Interiors were careful to create a synergy incorporating components of the Resort’s motifs, using textured fabrics, cowhide, live edge woods, and dark iron as the backbone to the space. Natural colours create a seamless transition from outside lounging to interior warmth. Neutral fabrics are accented with rich aubergine and grey-blue hues creating subtle movement throughout. A mix of sofa, dining and bar height seating provides easy lounging for groups of varying sizes to gather together.
“We wanted to encourage a space that could feel quiet and relaxing at times and turn into a spot that was lively and fun,” says Liana Hawes Young, Creative Director for Wimberly Interiors
Local artist Amy Ringholz’s artwork adorns the walls with a carefully curated new collection of wildlife in motion. This winter Ringholz has been painting live in the lobby every Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Visitors to the Ascent Lounge will enjoy the same pan-Asian culinary delights such as lemongrass pot stickers and Thai shrimp noodles. Carefully curated cocktails are not to be missed, including a fig-infused Manhattan and the Tokyo Sour.
Every weekend live music starts at 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a full musical line up available online.
