High-Altitude Adventure This Winter at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole

Heli-skiing, custom ski rentals and new high-speed lift debut for winter 2024-25 season

December 12, 2024,
Jackson Hole, U.S.A.

Adrenaline-seekers will find a mountain of adventure this winter at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, featuring a new heli-skiing partnership, custom ski rentals and a new high-speed lift at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

“There is something next level about the terrain in Jackson Hole and the surrounding mountains,” says Recreation Manager Byron Bade. “Our guests now have options to reach the most pristine powder in the destination with our new heli-skiing offering. Additionally, right here on the mountain, locally crafted Igneous ski rentals are available for the intermediate to expert level skier looking for a thrilling new ride, perhaps up the new high-speed Sublette!”

High Mountain Heli

The concierge team at Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole can arrange heli-skiing adventures through a partnership with High Mountain Heli, offering public and private heli-skiing tours to nearby mountains including the Snake River Range, the Palisades, and portions of the Wyoming, Teton, and Gros Ventre Mountain Ranges. This one-of-a-kind new experience for guests is offered December 18, 2024, to March 31, 2025, with the possibility of extending depending on snowfall levels. This activity is only for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders, comfortable skiing confidently on all runs, including black diamonds.

The High Mountain Heli experience can be booked directly with the concierge team. The cost begins at USD 1,900 per person for a public tour, or USD 24,900 for a private tour of three -to-eight guests.

Bespoke Skis at Basecamp

Guests of Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole have access to the Ski Concierge and onsite Basecamp, offering demo-level rentals, equipment storage and valet, and select retails items. New this winter, the Basecamp team offers an exclusive selection of locally made Igneous skis for intermediate to expert level adventure enthusiasts. Igneous has created handmade custom skis in Jackson, Wyoming, for more than 25 years. Led by former robotics engineer Michael Parris, Igneous skis are custom designed for durability to withstand the rigors of the Jackson Hole terrain. Every set features hand-built ski cores, blending hard maple, white ash and fir, and quartersawn hard maple sidewalls.  Basecamp will stock a selection of five custom pairs for rental, but also can arrange for additional demos directly with Parris, including snowboarding options.

New Sublette Lift Debuts on Mountain

The new high-speed Sublette lift debuts at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort just in time for the winter 2024-25 season, Jackson Hole’s sixth new lift in the last 10 years. For the past 37 years, Jackson Hole’s highest elevation chairlift has taken skiers and snowboarders to the Alta Chutes and Bivouac. The chairlift was dismantled last summer to make way for an improved high-speed quad, with an elevation gain of 1,600 vertical feet (490 metres) in four minutes.

To experience the new high-adrenaline offerings this season, book the Stay Longer – Sixth Night Free package to enjoy all the destination has to offer, spending extra time on the slopes or soaking in the year-round heated pool and hot tubs.
