Slopeside espresso martinis, pop-up bourbon bar, omakase, and complimentary programming in new speakeasy highlight seasonal experiences
Hit the slopes and savour the season at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, with new food and beverage offerings this winter including a slopeside bourbon bar, pop-up omakase, espresso martinis made to order, and complimentary programming in the new speakeasy.
“Families, couples, friends and solo travellers will find an exciting menu of all-day options across the Resort, whether they are looking for a fireside après experience, relaxing dinner or an energizing midday coffee or sandwich to go,” says Director of Food and Beverage Jose Vargas.
The Handle Bar
Open for the season, The Handle Bar offers a casual gathering spot for lunch, après and dinner, featuring slopeside access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and a menu of elevated gastropub favourites complemented by an extensive beer, wine, cocktail and zero-proof menu. New for winter 2025 on weekends, guests and local visitors can visit the après terrace with DJ Alexander Clark spinning tunes, keeping the atmosphere lively. Also offered will be a pop-up Heaven Hill bar, featuring ski-up access and a variety of featured cocktail offerings.
Omakase Experience Ascent Lounge
For the ultimate date night or gathering of friends, book a seat for two at the Resort’s seasonal omakase experience, offered in partnership with Taikun Sushi. Set against the scenic slopes of Rendezvous Mountain, guests will enjoy a special tasting menu at an intimate, custom-built, eight-seat sushi counter. The weekly rotating “chef’s choice” menu highlights the season's premium fish, perfectly paired with a handpicked selection of sake and wine. Two seatings are offered nightly, at 5:30 and 8:00 pm, every Wednesday to Sunday. For reservations, call 307 732 5620 or book online.
First Chair
The new slopeside First Chair mountainside market is aptly named for the sought-after “first chair” when a ski resort opens for the day. Open daily from morning to afternoon, First Chair offers a one-stop shop for all-day provisions. Featured items include pastries, freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks, fresh-pressed juices, along with cocktails to go, sandwiches and sweet treats. A selection of specialty retail items also is available. New this winter, First Chair is featuring a Grey Goose espresso martini machine, offering espresso martinis to go, as well as boxed lunches perfect for taking for a mountainside picnic al fresco before getting in the next run on the slopes.
80 Proof Speakeasy
After a day of adventure on the mountain, guests of the Resort can head to the new 80 Proof speakeasy for elevated mixology, as well as plentiful zero-proof options. A menu of light bites accompanies the extensive drink menu. Guests will enjoy complimentary programming every day of the week, including “Sip and Shred,” offering mocktails perfect for fuelling an early morning ski run, or the “Perfect Pour,” offering spirit tasting alongside a composed drink tasting. On Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15, 2025, Bartender Michael Aredes of New York City-based Superbueno cocktail bar will be mixing drinks with Lead Mixologist Nick Gatz from 8:00 to 10:00 pm each night. Superbueno was named the “Best New US Cocktail Bar” by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation in 2024. The evening is open to guests of the Resort; the event is complimentary with a la carte cocktail pricing.
Westbank Grill
The Resort’s signature Westbank Grill steakhouse offers panoramic views of Teton Village and Rendezvous Peak, along with a dynamic open kitchen and cozy setting. Classic menu items for winter 2025 include the wagyu beef tartare, served with truffle potato crisps, cornichons and capers. Other highlights include the 10-ounce dry aged cowboy beef ribeye, offering a taste of the American West. Complement the selections with cocktail and wine pairings from sommelier AJ Puccia.
Poolside Menu
The Resort’s poolside restaurant will serve food and beverage daily. Guests of the Resort also can enjoy daily s’mores poolside, perfect for warming up after a day on the mountain. The freeform pool is heated year-round and highlights scenic views of the skiers and snowboarders heading down the mountain. Three hot spring-styled jetted tubs offer the perfect remedy for sore muscles.
