Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur invites guests to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a selection of handcrafted mooncakes. Ideal for sharing the season’s magical spirit with family and friends, these artisanal creations are the meticulous work of Chef Ng Meng Loong, the dim sum and dessert maestro at Yun House, the Hotel’s Michelin-selected Cantonese restaurant.

This year’s mooncake gift box features a specially commissioned design by acclaimed Malaysian artist C.N. Liew. Vibrant shades of red strike a classically auspicious note, while Liew’s contemporary patterns evoke a sense of modern glamour. The signature design extends across a scarf that now ribbons the box, offering a refined touch while still doubling as a pocket square or handkerchief. Embodying a fine balance of tradition and innovation, this gift box reflects the essence of the mooncakes it holds.

With his Chinese culinary skills perfected over two decades, Chef Loong unveils flavours that not only capture the rich cultural heritage of the Mid-Autumn Festival but also explore the exciting possibilities of more modern ingredients.

Shaped like the full moon, the symbolic heart of the festivities, these gourmet delights come in an impressive selection of flavours, ranging from the iconic Lotus Seed to the bold Musang King Durian. Along with fond favourites, guests can also look forward to brand-new varieties like the Snow Skin Mooncake with Butterfly Pea Flower & Saffron and the Eight-Nut Treasure Baked Mooncake.

“The Mid-Autumn celebration is all about joy and togetherness, with the main event being a feast with family and friends under the full moon,” says Chef Loong. “Designed to appeal to all generations and palates, our mooncakes welcome everyone to join the festivities.”

Individual mooncakes are priced at MYR 45 to MYR 48 for Classic Baked Mooncakes and MYR 58 to MYR 88 for Snow Skin Mooncakes.

Orders are now available and can be collected between July 28, 2025 to October 6, 2025. Orders placed before August 24 receive an early bird saving of 15%.
