Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto Celebrates #ReconnectMagenta on Global Wellness Day

June 11, 2025,
Kyoto, Japan

This Global Wellness Day, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto welcomes guests to nurture their relationship with the earth and with their inner self. Inspired by the 2025 theme of #ReconnectMagenta, the wellness team has crafted a thoughtful start to the day, leading from nature immersion to healthful nourishment.

On June 14, 2025, Global Wellness Day, the morning unfolds with a forest bathing experience in Higashiyama, the charming district in which the Hotel is situated. Winding through Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sannnen-zaka Hill, the route will take participants through lush summer greenery, awakening the senses and calming the spirit. Upon returning to the Hotel, guests can reflect on their experience as they cool down with a freshly prepared green juice, brimming with the goodness of local ingredients.

Forest bathing (known as shinrin-yoku) is a Japanese therapeutic practice that involves spending time in nature, with a focus on connecting with one’s surroundings on a sensory level. Known to reduce stress, boost immunity and increase vitality, forest bathing offers an enjoyable way to support personal wellbeing, reflecting the essence of #ReconnectMagenta.

Open to staying guests, the Global Wellness Day celebration will take place from 8:00 to 9:00 am on June 14, 2025. Advance reservations are required; call +81 75 541 8288 or email fitness.kyoto@fourseasons.com
