Malibu Farm Comes to Four Seasons Resort Lanai

Popular LA restaurant to open outpost at Hawaiian luxury resort

Hawaii, Lanai, U.S.A.

Acclaimed California restaurant Malibu Farm, a favourite of local residents, surfers and A-list celebrities alike, debuts at Four Seasons Resort Lanai.  The restaurant offers brunch, lunch and cocktails until sunset.

Chef, farmer and owner Helene Henderson was born in Sweden, yet found her calling in the United States, first as a successful caterer, cookbook author and private chef.  After moving to Malibu with her family, she started a farm in her Point Dume backyard "just for fun," eventually taking her popular farm dinners and cooking classes to the Malibu Pier as a pop-up restaurant.

“Fresh, organic, local” is the motto at Malibu Farm, where simple ingredients sourced from local farmers and purveyors shine.  Popular menu favourites include quinoa oatmeal with coconut milk, fried egg sandwiches, a kale Caesar salad, soy marinated steak, burgers with bacon marmalade, and an array of freshly squeezed juices.
Coffee is by Caffe Luxxe.

Four Seasons Resort Lanai, on a 90,000 acre (36,000 hectare) secluded island just nine miles from Maui, features 217 guestrooms; multiple dining including ONE FORTY, NOBU LANAI and VIEWS at Manele Golf; spa and wellness offerings; luxury retail boutiques featuring Missoni, Jimmy Choo and the Lanai Collection; botanical gardens; an expansive pool experience; and the 18-hole ocean-view Jack Nicklaus Signature Manele Golf Course.  Guests can enjoy Lanai by Four Seasons with myriad activities from upcountry horseback rides to UTV tours, hiking, biking, snorkeling, sailing, Hawaiian cultural experiences and more.
