Four Seasons Resort Lanai Presents a Seat at the Table This September

Guests at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai can experience exciting events as part of its Masters of Cuisine lineup of bringing together visionary talents in the kitchen with the tropical luxury paradise of Lanai. September 19 and 20, 2026, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will host A Seat at the Table, an intimate seven-course dinner and a sushi making class with the master himself.

September 19 - A Seat at the Table

An intimate evening in the company of one of the world's most celebrated chefs, where seven exquisite courses tell the story of Nobu's singular cuisine. The founder of the global Nobu empire is renowned for his fusion of traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian flavours. This up-close evening invites a select group of guests to dine alongside the master himself, savouring dishes that have made him a single-name powerhouse. Guests are invited to arrive from 6:00pm to a glass of chilled bubbles, mingling during a relaxed meet-and-greet before the dining experience begins. As dinner opens, each guest will have the opportunity to take a photo with Chef Nobu himself — a memento of a truly one-of-a-kind occasion.

September 20 – Sushi Making Class

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will lead an intimate lunchtime sushi class, where guests have the unique opportunity to learn directly from the chef himself, uncovering techniques, ingredients, and approach to sushi, followed by the opportunity to enjoy the dishes they have prepared together.  

Every guest will also receive a personalized, pre-signed copy of The World of Nobu cookbook to take home.
