The Swiss Perfection adventure began when a Swiss philanthropist, owner of the most famous anti-ageing clinic in the world in Montreux and firm believer in the multiple benefits of cellular technology, funded cellular research. His team of renowned scientists revolutionised cellular therapy and simultaneously developed the first cellular cosmetic line based on animal cells, which also led to the discovery of a vegetal cell with superior potency and anti-ageing effects found within the root of the iris Germanica.

The Ritz Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is now furthering its relationship with Swiss Perfection and bringing in four new facial treatments that, through the Swiss brand’s unique cellular technology, will go further in the anti-ageing and cell renewal process, making skin more luminous and youthful. Each facial treatment is fully customisable to each and every skin type, giving back its vitality and ensuring instant yet long-lasting visible results.

Swiss Perfection features high-tech and high-touch exclusive anti-ageing facials, and each treatment consists of a series of moments including deep cleansing, facial masks, electric cellular skin stimulation, hydration and intense nutrition – moments of pure indulgence in a true oasis in the city centre.

Ideal for all ages and skin types, Swiss Perfection has positive effects on mature skin by reducing the signs of ageing, as well as on younger skin, by preventing premature lines and wrinkles, and the Cellular Lighting Treatment is the perfect post-summer skin treatment for all hyperpigmentation-afflicted skin types.

Each Swiss Perfection treatment at the Ritz Spa follows these steps:

The client will be greeted with a welcoming ritual, comprising of a relaxing facial, collar and shoulder massage that will help the body release tension and prepare the skin for the treatment.

After make-up removal and deep cleansing, the treatment begins with an analysis step, whereby a specific tactile and physiological approach defines the skin’s profile, and consequently, the right skincare product and/or treatment is recommended.

The beauty ritual goes on to a more relaxing phase, where the use of a pair of gentle face brushes in synchronised movements soothe and further cleanse the skin’s first protective layer (epidermis), preparing the skin for the next step - a more energetic and intense step that includes a skilful scrub that works on two fronts: by mechanic and chemical action, which will not only deep cleanse the more superficial layers, but also exfoliate the deeper layers of the skin. This exfoliation will remove dead cells and impurities from the skin, helping to unclog pores which in turn will aid the skin’s oxygenation and renewal, boosting cell metabolism, favouring the skin’s natural glow.

The purifying and cleansing ritual ends with a step that is exclusive to Swiss Perfection.  Designed with the Swiss Perfection medical expertise, the Anti Transdermal System (ATS) machine combines two types of electrical currents, which will act on the skin through electro stimulation and heat. This will in turn act on the skin’s deepest layers, fibroblasts, boosting blood circulation and the production of new collagen.
