Kuda Magic + Endless Blu 2 Music Compilation Now Available at Four Seasons Resorts Maldives

Kuda Magic + Endless Blu 2 is the new bespoke music compilation inspired by the two award-winning Four Seasons Resorts Maldives: Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru.

Compiled and arranged by prolific Swiss music-designer Olivier Rohrbach in conjunction with Hello Stranger, the selection has been created in response to guest demand, following the huge success of its 2012 predecessor.

Featuring two distinct yet complementary selections, the double CD echoes the pulse and pace, sounds and spirit of Four Seasons Resorts Maldives. Kuda Magic reflects the Maldives’ exotic location and its fantastic fusion of influences: Indian, Asian and Arabic.  Endless Blu – drawing its title from Landaa Giraavaru’s Blu Bar - channels a more "modern Maldives," elegant and effortlessly cool, moving from lazy chilled electronic to more lounge-friendly beats.  

“The vibe at Four Seasons Maldives Resorts is quite magical – for this second volume I felt drawn to a synthesis of sounds that reflected its local and international influences, and musical melting pot experience,” explains Rohrbach, who also moonlights as an international DJ, producer and journalist.  “It’s a sleek, sophisticated album with a fabulous, dream-like and eclectic soundtrack, designed to evoke perfect memories of Four Seasons Maldivian paradises when back home.”

Compilation highlights include Chris Coco’s incredible remix of the Maldivian song Reethi Raje, recorded in Malé especially for this CD; a chill-out version of the single Sunlight by talented Belgian DJ producer The Magician; and Here for you by Gorgon City, one of the UK’s most acclaimed new dance acts, featuring vocals by Laura Welsh who is being coined as the next "Adele-meets-Emelie-Sandé."
