Four Seasons Hotel Megève Launches an Exciting Range of Experiences for the Perfect Summer Stay
Reopening for the summer season on June 9, 2023, the iconic Megève hotel offers a rich program of wellness activities for guests to switch off and recharge in a bucolic alpine setting
This summer, Four Seasons Hotel Megève will offer a holistic program based on three core pillars: physical exercise, nutritionally balanced meals, and wellness treatments at the spa.
Fitness and Wellbeing Immersed in Nature
Guests will start the day with a meditation session in an open-air geodesic dome immersed in nature, before heading out on an alpine walk along steep, meandering paths, accompanied by an expert guide in search of flowers and plants that are beneficial to health. Once at the summit, guests will sit back and enjoy a picnic of exquisite seasonal delights prepared with local produce as they take in spectacular views of Mont Blanc. Back at the Hotel, guests can unwind and soothe aching muscles with an invigorating CBD-based treatment in the spacious spa, which is spread out over 900 square metres (9,700 square feet). Upon request, therapists can deliver a caddy tray with a selection of natural bath products for guests to pour into the bathtub in their room or suite, promising the ultimate cocooning bath ritual.
Each week, a program of wellness activities will be offered to unwind and recharge, including aquabike, yoga flow and meditative walking for adults, and Too Fruit workshops, yoga sessions and fun water-based games for children and teens. The Spa also offers a range of skincare rituals by HydraFacial and personalised MakeMyMask hair care treatments.
A Culinary Experience in an Alpine Setting
At the restaurants of Four Seasons Hotel Megève, guests can savour exquisite gourmet dishes with subtle Asian flavours that make the most of local produce. Edmond’s serves summer dishes and cocktails in a convivial setting on a sun-kissed terrace facing the Côte 2000, while a stone’s throw away is Kaito, where classic Japanese flavours combine with Latin American and Haute-Savoie influences. The menu features the likes of Black Cod with a caramelised Miso topping, and the chef’s much sought-after Reblochon tempura with blueberry and yuzu jam. Poolside, guests can refuel with wholesome meals served in bento boxes – perfect to enjoy a light and nutritious al fresco meal while admiring the surrounding mountain panorama.
Myriad Activities Starting at the Hotel
Nestled in greenery, Megève is a veritable outdoor playground, with plenty of open-air activities on offer. Both children and adults can explore the surrounding mountains on a hike along alpine paths, or mountain biking or quad biking along scenic routes and tracks that meander through gorgeous alpine landscapes. Golfing enthusiasts can play a round or two at the 18-hole Mont d'Arbois golf course, accessible directly from the Hotel. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced players, and offers wonderful views of the Mont Joly and Aravis mountain ranges. At the Children’s Kingdom, a dedicated kids’ club where playing is a great adventure, little ones can take part in sport activities and educational workshops that are guaranteed to fully engage them from the moment they step into this magical universe. They’ll love the petting farm by the Hotel too, where adorable ponies, rabbits and chickens warmly welcome guests. Families can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets of Megève to discover the rich history and culture of this iconic medieval village in the heart of the Alps.
