Marcus at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal Receives the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, Toasts Summer with Maison du Soleil, and Celebrates the “The Season Is Served”
As Montreal steps fully into summer, Marcus at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal celebrates a season of recognition, gathering, and sunlit hospitality. The restaurant is proud to once again receive the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, a continued recognition of its thoughtful and dynamic wine program led by Cheffe Sommelière Alexandra Guay. Days later, on June 27, 2026, Marcus welcomes the arrival of summer with Maison du Soleil, a one-evening Signature Brunch conceived for the long light of the season and presented in celebration of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts global campaign, The Season Is Served.
Wine Spectator Award of Excellence — Marcus
Marcus has once again been recognized with the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence — a distinction that continues to affirm what Cheffe Sommelière Alexandra Guay has built into one of Montréal’s most considered wine programs.
The Award of Excellence honours restaurants that offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers across multiple regions and vintages, presented with the knowledge and care that define a complete dining experience. At Marcus, the wine program is an extension of the kitchen's philosophy: precise, curious, and rooted in a genuine point of view. The recognition is held for another year — a continued testament to the standard of craft and hospitality that defines every table.
Maison du Soleil — A Signature Brunch to Welcome Summer: June 27, 2026
On June 27, Marcus hosts Maison du Soleil, a Signature Brunch conceived as an unhurried celebration of summer's arrival. One day. One long table. A menu shaped entirely by the season.
Executive Chef Jason Morris builds around the textures, brightness, and ease that define summer at its peak. Flowing champagne, elevated plates crafted for sharing, and a room that feels as open and warm as the evening itself. The terrasse invites guests outside; the lounge anchors those who prefer to linger. There is no rush. The point is the afternoon becoming evening and everything that happens in between.
Maison du Soleil is part of The Season Is Served — the global Four Seasons campaign celebrating summer through food, craft, and the pleasure of a well-made moment.
Service from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Reservations via OpenTable.
The Season Is Served — Marcus at the Table
Through the summer months, Marcus joins Four Seasons properties worldwide in marking The Season Is Served — a celebration of what summer looks and tastes like in each city it touches.
In Montréal, that means the Spritz de Provence — Marcus Head Mixologist Jay Lawson’s signature aperitif, built with Provence rosé, elderflower, and a long pour of summer — and the branzino, Chef Jason Morris’s anchor plate: crisped seabass layered with the brightness of locally grown hydroponic tomatoes, smoked olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and pickled caper leaves. Clean, confident, and rooted in the season’s best produce, these are not temporary additions. They are the language of summer at Marcus — the things guests return for, and the things that make a Tuesday in June feel like exactly the right place to be.
The Season Is Served continues through August 31, 2026. #FSTheSeasonIsServed
