Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort hosted the 3rd annual Four Seasons Orlando Invitational on October 16 and 17, 2025 in collaboration with AdventHealth for Children, raising USD 1,585,750 to support pediatric cancer research. The sold-out two-day charity event paired 15 celebrities, one with each foursome, including musicians and former professional athletes.

The pre-tournament reception on October 16 included a live music performance by country music singer and songwriter Adam Doleac, and a silent and live auction.  The live auction star prize was a one-night stay at Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, including breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table, two additional nights’ accommodation at a Disney Deluxe Resort and one private Disney VIP Tour for four guests. The unique auction items also included an opportunity to be a character written into a novel by author James Patterson; numerous Four Seasons hotels and resorts getaways, many tied to sporting events; a golf tour package in Scotland with access to legendary golf courses; an original Disney painting created by Disney Fine Artist Dom Corona; and other special items from in-kind donors. Numerous signed sports collector memorabilia, perfect for the avid sports fan, were also available to bid on.

Funds raised from this signature event will propel AdventHealth for Children to the forefront of pediatric cancer care with the advancement of its Head and Neck Oncology Program—one of the nation’s most innovative initiatives for children facing rare and aggressive cancers.  Led by Joseph Lopez, MD, the first pediatric craniofacial surgeon in the US specifically trained in complex head and neck surgical oncology, this pioneering program at AdventHealth is transforming outcomes for young patients through highly specialized, lifesaving care. Funds from the Four Seasons Orlando Invitational will be dedicated to expanding access to care through dedicated clinical space, specialized staff and advanced surgical tools; accelerating research of pediatric thyroid cancer to improve diagnosis and treatment; and addressing health disparities affecting Central Florida’s pediatric cancer patients.

A patient family from AdventHealth for Children, Danielle Hornbuckle and her son, Wyatt, were on site at the tournament reception, sharing their story and their road to recovery and healing with AdventHealth.

“The Four Seasons Orlando Invitational is a powerful example of what happens when compassion meets community,” says Kristi Baker, Senior Executive Officer, AdventHealth for Children. “Through this event, the generosity and camaraderie shared on the golf course directly translates into hope and healing for children like Wyatt, at AdventHealth for Children. Every dollar raised helps us advance leading-edge treatments and provide whole-person care that uplifts our youngest patients and their families.”

“We take tremendous pride in raising this considerable donation in our first year of collaborating with AdventHealth for Children, thanks to the generosity of the event attendees,” says Ali Mohammed, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Orlando. “Since our opening in 2014, Four Seasons Orlando has proudly supported organizations that are making a difference in pediatric cancer in our community. I wholeheartedly thank our dedicated team for their commitment to making this signature event a success, as well as to AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida for their partnership.  We are pleased to know that these funds will make a true difference in the lives of children who are affected by head and neck cancers and will pave the way for essential research.”

Prior Four Seasons Orlando Invitationals held in 2024 and 2023 raised more than USD 700,000 or Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida.
