The bells are ringing on the horizon and Christmas is in the air. As Tokyo lights up to welcome the most wonderful time of the year, guests are invited into a world of wondrous flavours and warm celebrations, curated by Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi.

The Hotel is now accepting reservations for this year’s highly anticipated Christmas cake, the Noël Blanc, and the all-time favourite Stollen Bread. Crafted by the imagination and artistry of the pastry team, these showstopping creations promise to elevate holiday gatherings with a touch of Four Seasons magic.

Additionally, from December 13 to 23, 2024, the Festive Desk will offer an array of limited-edition Christmas petit fours, perfect as holiday treats for loved ones or a well-deserved indulgence for oneself.

Christmas Cake: Noël Blanc  

Evoking the enchantment of a white Christmas, the Noël Blanc cake is the ideal finale to a magnificent festive feast. Crafted with fine La France pears from Yamagata Prefecture and fragrant vanilla from Madagascar, this elegant centrepiece is topped with a delicate white Christmas tree and swirling snowflakes. Ten layers of caramel and hazelnut biscuit yield a glorious depth of flavour, with pear gelée adding a mellow sweetness and bergamot accents lending a light and vibrant aftertaste.

Christmas Stollen

The Hotel’s signature Stollen is back! This beloved German sweetbread, especially popular during the holidays, is meticulously handcrafted with pistachios, almonds, sultanas, figs, cranberries, oranges, and — as a special Four Seasons surprise — pineapple. Offering an unexpected twist on the traditional recipe, the dried fruits are soaked in pineapple rum, imparting a flavour-packed intensity. Sprinkled with Wasanbon, a fine-grained Japanese sugar, the Stollen becomes even richer and more delectable as it matures. (Chef’s tip: Save a slice or two to enjoy in January.)

Capturing the spirit of the season, these bite-sized delights offer a taste of signature Four Seasons flavours. No reservations necessary; guests can simply stop by for an irresistible holiday pick-me-up. These sweet treats also make for charming gifts, ideal for sharing the joy of the holidays with family, close friends and valued colleagues.
