Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi has been awarded three Michelin Keys for the third consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to delivering memorable experiences through considered design, attentive service, and thoughtfully curated moments. Announced by the Michelin Guide on September 18, 2026, the recognition keeps the hotel within a select circle – one of just seven properties in Japan to secure three keys this year.

Like its counterpart for restaurants, the Michelin Key were introduced globally in 2024 to celebrate the world’s finest hotels, chosen through evaluations across design, architecture, service, character, value, and sense of place. Three Keys offer the highest distinction, representing “one of the world’s most remarkable and extraordinary stays and a destination for the trip of a lifetime”.

“It is an absolute honour to receive three Michelin Keys for the third consecutive year. The credit goes to the team who create the magic for our guests. We would like to express our gratitude to the Michelin Guide and to all those who have continued to support our journey,” says Uday Rao, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. “Since opening, our team has taken pride in offering a distinctive style of hospitality, which is unscripted and unpretentious, with warmth and genuine care for our guests. The unwavering drive to create exceptional moments continues to fuel us from within.”

Set above the capital’s historic and modern centre of power, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi pairs the energy of the city with Japanese craft, character, and refinement. Bold design frames traditional details across cinematic spaces – a soaring lobby, an Art Deco bar, a panoramic pool – alongside an in-house collection of contemporary art. With views that extend from the Imperial Palace gardens and city skyline all the way to Mount Fuji, the rhythm of Tokyo is felt in every moment.

The same creative spirit continues through the culinary program. At Michelin-starred est, seasonal Japanese produce is crafted into innovative French fare, while PIGNETO celebrates Italy’s dolce vita with aperitivo on the terrazza and artisanal pizzas described as Neapolitan 2.0. VIRTÙ, No. 45 of the World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, unites Parisian romance with a modern Tokyo edge, unveiling a storied menu that moves from rare French cognacs to carefully chosen Japanese spirits.

Offering a considered expression of contemporary luxury, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi once again stands among the world’s most remarkable hotels – one of only 155 properties across more than 100 countries to secure three Michelin Keys in 2026.
