Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris has been selected among the Top 50 Best Hotels in the World in the 37th annual Reader’s Choice Awards by Condé Nast Traveler, and ranks #1 in Paris with a score of 99 out of 100.

Thibaut Drege, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, comments: “We are particularly proud to have been recognized by Condé Nast Traveler readers as one of the top hotels in the world, and to be the only hotel in France included in this prestigious listing. There is no greater reward than the recognition of our guests themselves. This achievement is proof of our team’s dedication and unparalleled generosity, who go above and beyond to make each stay extraordinary. Every department, from room service to concierge, guest experience to reception, florist to housekeeping, and our world-renowned chefs, works tirelessly to create a real connection with our guests and enhance their time in the City of Lights.”

In its comment, Condé Nast Traveler highlights that “this hotel is a true Paris icon - but from the moment you enter, it’s clear all is not as traditional as it might seem. The entryway is grand and gilded, the staff deferential and efficient (and always greeting you by name), but flashes of modern style and edgy attitude save the place from seeming staid. This is also the first hotel in Europe to feature six Michelin stars under one roof - garnered here by three distinct restaurants like fine dining Le Cinq, where French classics are reinterpreted using lighter ingredients and techniques. Fortunately, all restaurants are accented by prime vintages from the hotel’s legendary, 50,000 bottle-strong cellar, whose position 45-feet underground helped it survive the bombings of World War II.”

The Condé Nast Traveler US Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate voters' all-time favourite locations and travel adventures, spanning across various categories, including hotels, resorts, airports, airlines, cruise lines, islands, and spas. Hundreds of thousands of respondents answer an extensive questionnaire to rate their traveling journeys from 1 to 100, which are averaged to determine the ranking for each category. Properties are then assessed based on a five-point scale: excellent, very good, good, fair, and poor. The hotel category evaluates various elements, including service, design, location, rooms, activities, culinary offerings, and value. This year’s survey also introduced new aspects such as cleanliness, community, concierge services, experiences, remote work facilities, and accessibility, adding more depth to the evaluation.
