This summer, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center will introduce The Match Room, an elevated sports lounge experience where live matches, immersive moments, and an inviting atmosphere set the stage for how the city comes together to watch. Open June 11 through July 19, 2026, The Match Room is a seasonal takeover of the hotel’s 59th‑floor event spaces—reimagined as a vibrant, design‑forward destination welcoming the local community, travellers visiting Philadelphia, and hotel guests.

Timed to coincide with a summer filled with major sporting moments and the national milestone of America 250, The Match Room embraces the spirit of Philadelphia—a city defined by loyalty, resilience, and showing up for the moments that matter. From global tournaments to pressure‑packed matchups, the lounge offers a place to gather, react, debate every call, and celebrate the plays that linger long after the final whistle.

“Philadelphia sports fans bring an energy that’s unmatched—it’s loud, it’s joyful, and it pulls people together,” says Cornelia Samara, Regional Vice President and General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. “With The Match Room, we’re excited to introduce a new place to experience that spirit, pairing the thrill of live matches with great food, great drinks, and the kind of hospitality that invites people to settle in and enjoy every moment.”

An Elevated, Immersive Setting

Upon arrival, guests step into a fully transformed space where live action commands attention. Multiple large‑format screens anchor the spaces, creating clear sightlines and an atmosphere that draws guests into the rhythm of the match. Layered textures, custom furnishings, and warm design details balance the intensity of game play with a relaxed, welcoming feel.

Operating as a public lounge open to hotel guests and the local community alike, The Match Room is designed for spontaneous drop‑ins, long afternoons that stretch into evenings, and nights when the room rises and falls with every pivotal moment on screen.

Food and Beverage with a Sense of Place

At the heart of The Match Room is a culinary and beverage program that gives familiar favourites new life—bold, craveable, and designed for sharing. Built around elevated concession-style classics, the menu draws on Philadelphia’s love of straightforward, satisfying food, layered with global and refined through thoughtful ingredients and execution.

Snack offerings set the tone with warm soft pretzels paired with pimento cheese, truffled and Parmesan fries, Spanish croquettes with garlic aioli, Venezuelan‑inspired tequeños, and guacamole served with pico de gallo and crisp tostones. Moving into heartier fare, guests will find smash burgers layered with Cooper sharp cheese on a Martin’s potato roll, lobster rolls brightened with cilantro and lime, Cubano sliders, Baja‑style fish tacos, classic fish and chips, and a fried chicken bucket—available with elevated touches such as caviar service and paired with Laurent‑Perrier Champagne, offered by the glass or bottle.

Desserts lean playful and nostalgic—cheesecake bars, ice cream sandwiches, and warm churros served with chocolate sauce and dulce de leche—rounding out the experience on a familiar, comforting note.

The bar program takes a similarly creative approach, blending approachability with unexpected detail. Highlights include the Lemon Meringue Fizz, a bright, dessert‑inspired cocktail made with Botanist gin, lemon curd, and fresh citrus, finished with airy meringue. An espresso martini riff nods to Mexican café culture, incorporating piloncillo, cinnamon, and house‑made croissants—designed for guests to sip, share, and make their own.

Reservations, WalkIns and Private Gatherings

Guests are encouraged to visit The Match Room for more information and to plan their visit to The Match Room, with reservations recommended. Locals and visitors may access the space through the hotel’s 60th‑floor Sky Lobby, while hotel guests can reach The Match Room directly via guest elevators. In addition to the main lounge, select private rooms and full buyout opportunities are available for groups, offering a more personalized setting complete with dedicated viewing, access to the main bar, and a curated event experience supported by Four Seasons service—ideal for corporate outings, client entertainment, and social celebrations throughout the summer season.
