Shannon Shwier Appointed General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe
Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe welcomes Shannon Schwier as General Manager, following her most recent appointment as opening Resort Manager at Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort. Schwier brings a diversity of management experience to her new role at the helm of the brand’s Santa Fe property, recently ranked the #1 Best Resort in New Mexico by U.S. News & World Report.

Schwier began her career with Four Seasons in 2013 at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills as Director of Housekeeping. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and operational expertise, Schwier was promoted to Director of Rooms before taking on an international assignment at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach in 2015. In 2018, she was promoted to Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown, and in 2021, she relocated to South Florida as the Opening Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale.
In 2025, Schwier’s extensive experience in pre-opening operations led her to the Gulf Coast as opening Resort Manager of the iconic Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort. She quickly established herself as a trusted and influential leader, earning the respect of team members, ownership partners, and the development team alike.
Schwier’s contributions span across the Four Seasons portfolio through numerous interim and task force assignments. She has provided operational support at properties including The Surf Club, Anguilla, Philadelphia, Beverly Wilshire and Nashville, while also successfully leading Fort Lauderdale through periods of leadership transition. She also has played a valuable role in several corporate initiatives.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Schwier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy with a minor in Music from the University of Indianapolis. She also has completed multiple professional development certifications through Cornell University.
In her leisure time, Schwier is passionate about music and travel. An avid explorer, she has visited all 50 states in the U.S., more than 60 countries across all seven continents, and over 90 Four Seasons properties worldwide. These experiences have enriched her global perspective, deepened her appreciation for diverse cultures, and fueled her enthusiasm for new adventures. She is joined in Santa Fe by her husband, Christian, and two cats, Buster and Poof.
