“Summer in Santa Fe is both energising and restorative, blending art, culture, nature and wellness in a way that feels effortless and also inspiring,” says Melissa Sims, General Manager. “Whether guests are drawn to the creative spirit of the city, beauty of the high-desert setting, or simply a chance to recharge and reconnect, there is something special about this time of year in the Southwest.”
Acclaimed Santa Fe Opera
A highlight of summer in Santa Fe is the return of the world-renowned Santa Fe Opera. The Santa Fe Opera's 69th Festival Season, running from July 3 to August 29, 2026, features 38 performances including the American premiere of Tobias Picker's Lili Elbe and a new co-production of Mozart's The Magic Flute. Other highlights include Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, Handel's Rodelinda, and Apprentice Scenes performances, with tickets available at santafeopera.org.
Located within minutes of the Opera, guests of Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado enjoy exclusive ticket pricing, as well as complimentary transportation to and from the performances. Terra restaurant opens early with a special pre-set Opera dinner menu prior to each show, while Terra bar offers a menu of special cocktails correlating to each featured performance. Guests can also take part in a Santa Fe Opera tradition, tailgating prior to the evening’s performance with specialty picnics to go from Terra restaurant.
Summer of Adventure
Discover Santa Fe, ranked no. 1 in the United States by Travel + Leisure in its 2025 World’s Best Awards, with a customised City Tour through the on‑site Adventure Center. The experience highlights the city’s history and creative character.
The Ancient to Present tour is perfect for families and begins with a drive through lands of Pueblo Indians onto the majestic Pajarito Plateau to the nearby Bandelier National Monument. At Bandelier, families step back in time to visit a unique 14th century pueblo located deep in Frijoles Canyon, walk alongside crystal-clear creek waters to see the ancient Pueblo village and kivas, climb ladders into prehistoric caves and search for captivating petroglyphs.
Spa and Wellness
Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo foothills beneath Santa Fe’s expansive celestial skies, the spa is a wellness haven where the power of the land meets the energy of the sky. The body, mind and soul are nourished and renewed, harmonising ancient traditions with modern wellness.
Situated on a regional vortex, the spa offers high‑desert treatments, including body and facial therapies inspired by the region. New for summer 2026, the spa introduces Natura Bissé and a series of specialty rituals, including customised facials and wellness-oriented body treatments that honor both the science of skin and the spirit of place.
Signature new offerings include Skincare Rituals such as the Diamond Well Living Ritual to smooth, hydrate and revitalise the skin and the Celestial Glow Facial to restore brightness, and reveal a rejuvenated, radiant complexion. The Cure Facial combines detoxifying and gentle exfoliation to awaken the skin’s renewal process. To learn more about the full menu of services at the spa and book a treatment, click here.

Acclaimed Art and Culture
With more than 250 galleries, Santa Fe offers one of the highest concentrations for a city of its size. Many galleries are located within a two‑mile (3.2 kilometre) radius along Canyon Road, allowing art enthusiasts to explore the bevy of studios on foot. Led by Mike McKosky, who has been active in the Santa Fe art scene since opening InArt Santa Fe in 2006, the program provides services for resort guests. They can customise an itinerary based on their preferences, budget and length of visit. The Art Concierge can also coordinate artist meetings, private showings and after‑hours gallery experiences.
