Four Seasons Resort Seychelles announces the opening of Il Forno, a new beachfront restaurant celebrating the artistry of Neapolitan cuisine through oven-cooked dishes, handcrafted pizzas and an immersive open-kitchen experience overlooking the turquoise waters of Petite Anse.

Designed as a relaxed yet refined culinary destination, Il Forno brings guests closer to the craft of cooking, where chefs work in full view beside a glowing pizza oven at the heart of the restaurant. Set directly on the beach, the space combines warm wooden textures, striking black marble accents and flowing cream ceiling drapery inspired by ocean waves, creating an inviting atmosphere that reflects the natural beauty of Seychelles.

At the centre of the menu is Il Forno’s signature Neapolitan-style sourdough pizza, prepared using a 48-hour fermented dough for exceptional flavour, texture and lightness. The restaurant offers a curated selection of both red and white pizzas - a defining signature of the outlet - alongside a collection of oven-focused dishes that showcase bold Mediterranean flavours and artisanal techniques.

Signature highlights include oven-grilled prawns served with mini ciabatta as well as the restaurant’s exclusive Petite Anse chilli paste; Vincisgrassi, the celebrated baked pasta dish originating from Italy’s Marche region; and Burrata Montada, featuring whipped burrata espuma topped with black truffle and accompanied by rosemary flatbread for dipping.

Desserts continue the warm, indulgent approach to dining with standout creations such as the Flourless Gianduja Cake and Oven-Baked Tiramisu Cake.

“Il Forno was designed to celebrate simplicity, authenticity and craftsmanship,” says Carlos Rodriguez, Senior Executive Chef. “From our slow-fermented pizza dough to dishes finished directly in the oven, every element of the menu highlights honest ingredients and the warmth of Italian culinary traditions, all elevated by the incredible setting of Petite Anse.”

The culinary experience is further enhanced by the theatre of the open kitchen, where guests can watch chefs shaping pizzas by hand, tending the flames of the oven and preparing dishes moments before they arrive at the table.

“We wanted Il Forno to feel vibrant, interactive and deeply connected to its surroundings,” says Thibaut Viera, Director of Food and Beverage. “The beachfront setting, the energy of the open kitchen and the aroma of wood-fired cooking come together to create a dining experience that is both sophisticated and welcoming.”

Il Forno is now open for lunch at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles from noon to 3:00 pm daily, inviting guests to discover the flavours, textures and atmosphere of modern Neapolitan dining in one of the island’s most spectacular beachfront locations.
