Ramsay’s Kitchen at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis Earns Wine Spectator Award of Excellence

Just a month after its debut, Ramsay’s Kitchen By Gordon Ramsay at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis earned the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine for the breadth and depth of its wine list.  Ramsay’s Kitchen is just one of twelve restaurants in St. Louis to receive the highly respected award, which is a calling card for discerning wine lovers who seek dining experiences that offer a robust selection focused on excellence.

Considered by many as the world’s leading wine authority, Wine Spectator magazine has informed and shaped the world of wine for more than forty years.  Launched in 1981, the magazine’s Restaurant Awards represent the world’s only program focused exclusively on restaurant wine service.  Its Award of Excellence recognizes restaurant wine lists that feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.

Officially opened in June, Ramsay’s Kitchen By Gordon Ramsay, a collaboration with Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis and Horseshoe St. Louis, is the first restaurant in St. Louis from multi-Michelin-starred Chef Gordon Ramsay. Inspired by Chef Ramsay's travels abroad, the Ramsay's Kitchen concept takes guests on a global culinary journey. The restaurant’s award-winning wine list is showcased in a floor-to-ceiling glass wine wall, a design feature that separates the bar lounge area from the dining room.

Following a splashy red carpet opening celebration hosted by Gordon Ramsay, the restaurant has been embraced by the city and enjoys record-setting success, with more than 30,000 reservations received since bookings began.  Located on the Hotel’s eighth floor, Ramsay’s Kitchen St. Louis offers a breathtaking backdrop of the iconic Gateway Arch and mighty Mississippi River. With a capacity to accommodate more than 250 guests, the restaurant’s spacious layout includes a bar and lounge, the main dining room with a seasonal patio, two private dining rooms and the outdoor RK Bar, providing a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Ramsay’s Kitchen By Gordon Ramsay St. Louis is now open and serves breakfast, and lunch and dinner; reservations can be made on OpenTable.
