Champagne Bar at The Surf Club at Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club Hosts a Dante Pop-Up Over South Beach Wine and Food Festival
The team at Champagne Bar at The Surf Club is thrilled to welcome Greenwich Village-based Dante, currently ranked #9 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, for a pop-up residence from February 21 to 24, 2019, running daily from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Dante will debut a range of signature and classic Martinis as well as refreshing spritz variations at the iconic bar inside Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club.
Dante’s best talent will join the Champagne Bar at The Surf Club team, led by Bar Manager Jacopo Rosito and Head Bartender Valentino Longo, to serve a special drinks menu crafted by Dante’s Creative Director Naren Young. In partnership with Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire, the line-up will highlight a variety of signature drinks off Dante’s newly launched Martini Hour menu, including such highlights as the Smoke on the Water featuring Bombay Sapphire, heather honey, Manzanilla sherry, kombu tincture and sea salt; or the elegant Olivette, a beautiful marriage of Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire, Noilly Prat, St-Germain, olive bitters and lime oils.
“This is such an exciting opportunity for us to bring our unique aperitivi-style drinks and brand of hospitality to Miami during one of the most high-profile culinary events in the world,” says Young. “Being able to work alongside some of the most talented bartenders in the country and in a venue that we all have a deep respect for just makes it even more special. It’s going to be an amazing week for everyone.”
Road-tested at pop ups at some of the best bars throughout the world in Athens, New York and London, the Martini Hour is a new initiative that shines a light on the Martini with a diverse mix of some old classic recipes such as the Martinez, Gibson and the Tuxedo #2 to several more bespoke modern interpretations of their own, using everything from olive bitters to rosewater, kombu, marmalade and lychee.
Dante will also preview some of the greatest hits from their highly successful Summer of Spritz campaign, originally launched in summer of 2017, including the Stroll Through Provence and Summer 2019. Guests will have the chance to savour these delicious concoctions in between all the SOBEWFF happenings, bringing many of the world’s top chefs and mixologists to South Beach.
