Four Seasons Hotel Toronto announces that it has been awarded the prestigious Michelin Guide two key designation. As part of a complete overhaul of their hotel selection, Michelin presented its new one, two, and three key distinctions dedicated to the most prominent hotels across the globe. Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is one of only two properties in the city, and one of eight in Canada, to receive the coveted two key recognition.

“We are incredibly honoured to receive the two key award from the esteemed Michelin Guide,” says Patrick Pollak, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. “This remarkable achievement reinforces the unwavering commitment to excellence of our entire team, setting the standard for luxury hospitality. This latest accolade is underscored by the completion of our multimillion-dollar room renovation earlier this year, making us a leading destination in Toronto.”

“The Four Seasons brand is headquartered in Toronto, so it stands to reason that its Yorkville franchise should be something special. This gleaming glass tower is set in an ideal location, surrounded by many of the best restaurants and shops in this cosmopolitan city,” as stated in the Michelin Guide. “It’s also home to some first-rate French cooking at Café Boulud, as well as a stunning spa and wellness centre. Rooms and suites are sunny and quietly stylish, and their substantial luxuries are subtle and tasteful, in classic Four Seasons style. Its real strength, however, is probably its service — as the flagship, it sets the tone for the entire brand.”

There are now more than 5,000 hotels featured in the Michelin Guide globally. Each property is evaluated across five categories including architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the guest experience in a particular setting. The 2024 Michelin Guide includes a total of 2 three key, 8 two key, and 23 one key hotels in Canada.
