M29 LIFESTYLE at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC Celebrates 5 Years at Georgetown's Luxury Boutique
This year, M29 LIFESTYLE at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC celebrates five years as Georgetown’s shopping destination for luxurious hidden gems. As style trends change with each season, M29 LIFESTYLE has continued to offer its clients a diverse and unique selection of exquisite clothing, accessories, home décor and gifts featuring creations from more than 20 designers exclusive to the store.
On April 16, 2015 the store will launch a new exclusive line, Claire Florence for M29 LIFESTYLE. The pieces include collector’s edition totes, silk and ostrich feather scarves, spring cashmere ts and white crochet dresses all ranging in pricing from USD 170 to USD 525.
“We are excited to launch an in-house line in collaboration with Claire Florence. Just in time for spring and summer, Florence’s designs are fresh, feminine, and posh with details and trim that suit our luxury customers,” says Ron Edwards, Retail Director.
Georgetown-based designer Claire Florence has worked directly with Edwards to create custom designs for the store’s luxury shoppers. Florence’s career started in New York where she consulted for firms such as Calvin Klein, Tom Ford and Cotton Incorporated. In 2000, she opened a design studio in New York’s NoLIta neighbourhood, which was featured in Vogue, Elle, Allure and Marie Claire. Florence’s one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces made out of cashmere and detailed with fox and mink fur have been worn by celebrities including Annick Goutal, Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and Minnie Driver.
During its five years, M29 LIFESTYLE has built unique relationships with the Georgetown community. Through personal connections, Edwards has gained an understanding of the client’s needs and tailors M29 LIFESTYLE’s merchandise to match their taste.
“Collaborating with M29 LIFESTYLE at Four Seasons has been the perfect opportunity to design a line of essential luxury items for everyday worldly clientele,” says Florence.
During the anniversary event, M29 LIFESTYLE will partner with longtime friend of the store Deborah Sigmund, and donate 10 percent of the proceeds to Innocents at Risk, which is celebrating 10 years of fighting child sex trafficking around the world.
