ENO Wine Bar is celebrating DC's renowned Cherry Blossom Festival with specialty menu items created especially for the season. Hotel Executive Chef Andrew Court fashioned ENO's signature cherry blossom dish including a generous serving of rich locally produced burrata, topped with a mouthwatering black cherry compote, petit basil and aged balsamic reduction served with a toasted rustic baguette. This savoury dish is priced at USD 14.

For a sweet treat, guests can enjoy a flight of cherry blossom chocolates from Pennsylvania-based artisanal chocolate maker Zoe's Chocolates, uniquely designed with pink and white blossoms. The trio is best paired with ENO's Dessert Flight of three fortified wines including a Portuguese Madeira and port and a Spanish sherry. These two flights are priced at USD 11 and USD 20 respectively.

ENO also offers an extensive list of wines by the glass, bottle and various tasting flights, along with locally sourced cheese, chocolate and charcuterie.

A Tribute to Japan at BOURBON STEAK

Nodding to Japan and BOURBON STEAK’s meat-centric style, restaurant executive chef Drew Adams will offer richly marbled cuts of A5 New York strip sandwiched between an authentic Japanese milk bread parker house roll with shiso, pickled turnip and rutabaga sauce - presented in bento boxes crafted from the sakura wood of cherry blossom trees.

Patrons can plan toast to the occasion over glasses of authentic Japanese whiskey - including the extremely rare Yamazaki 18-year Mizunara produced by Suntory.  This is the first edition of this rare specialty, with only 5,000 bottles produced for distribution worldwide.  Aged in the famed Yamazaki for 18 years entirely in rare Japanese mizunara oak -- the wood from this tree required Suntory to perfect new cask-making techniques. The tantalising results are spicy, redolent of incense and uniquely Japanese.  The Yamazaki 18-year mizunara is available in a two-ounce pour or one-ounce pour and priced at USD 402 and USD 201 respectively.

For reservations, call +1 202 944 2026 or book online.
