The Spa at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler Named Canada’s Best Resort Spa for Third Consecutive Year

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has been named Canada’s Best Resort Spa at the 2026 World Spa Awards, earning the distinction for the third consecutive year. The recognition follows The Spa’s recent transformation, which introduced renewed spaces and treatment journeys inspired by the Coast Mountains.

The reimagined Spa invites guests to move at a gentler pace. Renovated treatment rooms and a tranquil pre-treatment lounge lead to the Ursa Lounge, where a constellation of lights depicting Ursa Major creates a setting for reflection after each treatment. The experience extends to eucalyptus steam rooms, an outdoor cedar sauna, and a year-round heated pool and whirlpools framed by the mountains.

The Spa’s connection to place extends to its treatments. Created in collaboration with Indigenous female-founded Sḵwálwen Botanicals, the Magic of the Mountains Journey draws on wildcrafted botanicals and Indigenous plant knowledge. The experience moves from a wild rose scrub and warm lichen wrap to massage and a grounding pedicure, before concluding with tea and delicate bites in the Ursa Lounge.

The Spa received the same World Spa Awards distinction in 2024 and 2025. This year’s honour reflects The Spa’s continued commitment to its guest experience while marking a renewed chapter for wellness at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler.
