Susie Wei began her career in hospitality as a bar intern in Shanghai, where she developed an early interest in spirits, flavour balance and guest service. Within two years, she progressed to a professional bartender role, building a foundation in classic cocktail techniques, presentation and bar operations.

In 2022, Susie joined W Shanghai – The Bund, where she gained exposure to contemporary bar trends and the operational standards of a high‑end bar environment. She later moved to The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan in November 2023, focusing on classic cocktail craftsmanship and luxury service while blending traditional techniques with modern influences.

Susie joined Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou in September 2024 and was promoted to Bar Supervisor within her first year. In her current role, she oversees cocktail menu development and creation, drawing on seasonal ingredients, local inspiration and guest preferences. Her approach balances respect for classic recipes with a spirit of innovation, with close attention paid to detail across ingredients, technique and presentation.

Guided by the belief that cocktails should create memorable experiences, Susie continues to refine her skills through ongoing exploration of new techniques and ingredients, as well as guest feedback. As a supervisor, she leads by example, supports team development and upholds a warm, professional service culture at Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou.
