Serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Xavier Bon brings an abundance of expertise and passion for luxury and boutique hospitality to his role at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero. Since joining the team in 2021, Bon is committed to executing all aspects of sales and marketing communication on behalf of the 155-room, fully renovated sky-high urban retreat.
“It’s been rewarding to see the renovations at Four Seasons Embarcadero from start to finish,” says Xavier. “I enjoy working with a renowned brand like Four Seasons and also having the opportunity to initiate bespoke local partnerships and activations for this boutique, lifestyle-driven property.”
Based in the Bay Area for more than two decades, Bon has garnered a wealth of expertise in luxury hospitality roles throughout the greater San Francisco area. He began his career with Joie de Vivre Hospitality in 1999 at the bell desk of the Hotel Rex. Bon quickly rose through the ranks during his 17-year tenure with Joie de Vivre – in 2005, he was a part of the team responsible for opening the company’s waterfront flagship, Hotel Vitale, followed by another stint at Hotel Rex, where he was twice-named Salesperson of the Year. Next, Bon led sales and marketing at Joie de Vivre’s Hotel Kabuki, playing an integral part in their multi-million dollar renovation. This project is where his passion for opening exciting new projects and renovations truly sparked. From here, Bon joined Proper Hospitality to launch the lifestyle brand’s newly built and much-anticipated San Francisco Proper in 2017. Then, in 2019, he joined Viceroy Hotels & Resorts to open the newly renovated Hotel Emblem, a rebrand of his former Hotel Rex stomping grounds. Most recently, Bon served as the director of sales and marketing at The Lodge at Sonoma, a renovation and rebranding for the acclaimed Autograph Collection Hotels.
