Winston Williams was born and raised on Chicago's South Side and grew up simply wanting to be the best at everything he did. Inspired by his mom, he took to the kitchen and realized there weren't many pastry chefs that looked like him. Having taken that as a direct challenge, Winston set off to become the best possible pastry chef, and his journey since has been nothing less than awesome.

While earning his L’Art de la Pâtisserie Certificate at The French Pastry School in Chicago, Winston began his culinary career on the line at GT Fish & Oyster and later Siena Tavern. With his pastry credentials in hand, he made straight for Las Vegas, working at Wolfgang Puck's acclaimed Spago restaurant, before joining Beauty and Essex at The Cosmopolitan, and later serving three years at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. In 2021, Winston made the move to Texas, where he took the role of Executive Pastry Chef of Thompson Dallas, before moving to San Antonio to take the same role at Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Villas. In the summer of 2026, Winston was named Executive Pastry Chef of Four Seasons Hotel Houston.

“What I love most about pastry is creating desserts that bring people together and puts smiles on their faces,” says Chef Winston. “That's true magic, right there.”

Outside of work, Williams enjoys dining out, getting together with friends and family, making chocolate, and working out (including walks with Draco, his beloved Frenchie) to burn it all off.
