For this Oahu native, hospitality was never a career choice so much as a natural extension of her way of life. Long before Chaslyn Gonzaga entered the industry professionally, she was already living its values. While welcoming foreign exchange students from Korea and Japan into their family home, she thoughtfully curated their experiences and loved coming up with unique farewell gifts to send them off with lasting memories. That instinct to connect, care, and create belonging across cultures became the foundation of everything that followed.
Her aspiration to join Four Seasons was set early in her hospitality career, drawn by the brand's unwavering commitment to exceptional service. When the opportunity arose to return to Oahu from Hawaii Island, she joined Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina. That same passion now drives her work on Lanai, where she seeks out the quiet power of small things, from a personalized detail or a thoughtful touch, to ensure guests feel genuinely welcomed, seen and valued.
Gonzaga believes hospitality has always been about creating genuine connections, and it is incredibly rewarding to know that even the smallest touches can leave a lasting impression on a guest’s experience and journey.
When she's not working, she can be found chasing sunrises and sunsets, exploring the island by off-road, learning golf at Manele Golf Course, or travelling. Japan holds a special place in her heart — its culture, hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail a constant source of inspiration. A passionate photographer and video editor, she enjoys storytelling through a visual lens and looks forward to adding more stamps to her passport.
