Mazen Saleh brings more than two decades of Four Seasons experience to his role as General Manager of both Four Seasons Resort Lanai and Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort. Known for his people-first leadership style and passion for creating deeply personalized experiences, Saleh believes exceptional hospitality begins with genuine human connection — both with guests and employees.
A lifelong Four Seasons leader, Saleh joined the company in 2003 as a management trainee in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. His career journey has taken him across a diverse portfolio of Four Seasons properties and cultures, with leadership roles spanning resort and urban destinations including Nevis, Austin, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and now Hawaii. Along the way, he gained extensive operational experience in food and beverage, luxury resort operations, and hotel openings.
In 2021, Saleh was appointed Opening General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale, where he helped bring the beachfront luxury property to life, building the team and shaping a service culture centred around warmth, creativity, and personalized care. Following the successful opening and first years of the property, he returned to Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach in mid-2023, this time as General Manager, leading one of Florida’s most celebrated Five-Star, Five-Diamond resorts.
Born in The Gambia and raised around hospitality through his family’s restaurant business, Saleh developed an early appreciation for the way food, travel, and service bring people together. He later pursued hospitality studies in Switzerland, where his passion for luxury hospitality and global travel ultimately led him to Four Seasons.
Throughout his career, Saleh has remained deeply committed to fostering an environment where employees feel empowered, recognized, and inspired to deliver meaningful experiences. He credits Four Seasons’ culture of care and authenticity as one of the defining reasons behind his long-standing connection to the company.
Outside of work, Saleh enjoys exploring new hiking trails, discovering hidden beaches and coastal escapes, traveling, and experiencing new restaurants and wineries with his husband Rene and their Australian Labradoodle, Camilo. Whether at home or abroad, he is continually inspired by destinations, cultures, and experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways.
