A man of the world; connoisseur of good food and wine; passionate and convivial leader; family man; these are all words that describe Adrien Harel. And now, he can add Resort Manager of Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort to his diverse list of achievements. Having travelled and worked across multiple continents, most recently the idyllic Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora where he served as Resort Manager for three years, Harel brings extensive global experience to the iconic 26-acre, 443 room Five Diamond Resort, where he oversees all resort operations including guest relations, water park and recreation facilities, tennis, golf, spa, six restaurants, banquet operations and more.
“I am thrilled to be in such a family-friendly and international destination,” says Harel on his new position. “Our city draws people from all over the world, and the resort is a direct reflection of that, with something to offer guests of all ages and all backgrounds.”
Harel discovered his affinity for hospitality, as well as food and beverage, while attending Ecole Hôtelière Sir Gaëtan Duval, formerly known as the Hotel School of Mauritius. A native of Mauritius, it is only fitting that his trajectory with Four Seasons started at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, where he served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for three years upon the resort’s opening in 2008, prior to being promoted to Director of Food and Beverage. Later, he traded island living for a safari adventure to support the opening of Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti in Tanzania, where he served as Director of Food and Beverage for three years, before moving further up the African continent to open the urban Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca location as Director of Food and Beverage. He subsequently relocated to the stunning ski destination at Four Seasons Hotel Megève, where he was promoted to Hotel Manager, followed by his move to Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora as Resort Manager. After three years at the picturesque beach Resort, Harel and his family now call The City Beautiful their new home.
“Every destination has its own magic. I love discovering what is special and unique to each location, and truly immersing myself and embracing all that a place has to offer,” says Harel on his move to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Harel has no doubt lived this statement to the fullest, having enjoyed incredible experiences throughout his worldly travels such as paragliding over Mount Otemanu and snorkelling with humpback whales in Bora Bora, exploring the safari in the Serengeti, and gliding down the pristine ski slopes of Megève. Harel's ability to effortlessly connect with such diverse destinations around the globe carries over to his skillset of naturally relating to resort guests and team members alike.
In addition to embarking on epic adventures, Harel also enjoys the “simpler things in life,” such as barbecuing, fishing, listening to reggae music and spending quality time with his wife and two children. When he is traveling, he enjoys exploring wine routes, and has done so many times in locations such as South Africa, France, California and Oregon. Seemingly determined to live a life full of vigour and passion, Harel brings the same level of dedication to Four Seasons, pouring his enthusiasm and energy into the resort every day to ensure guests leave feeling the same way he would want to feel – enlivened.
