Chef Macke found his calling behind the counter of his parents' ice creamery and deli, where, as a middle schooler, he got his first taste of both the craft and connection that come with feeding people. That early spark never faded. After graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles, enrolled in culinary school, and threw himself into the restaurant world, where he has been hooked ever since.

His path to Four Seasons began through a former colleague who recommended him for a position with the brand after observing his work ethic and personality in action. He didn't hesitate, accepting an entry-level position to start from the ground up and join the company.

Compassionate, loyal, and resilient — three words that don't just describe him as a person but define his philosophy in the pastry kitchen. Compassion shows up in the way he approaches every guest interaction, from last-minute requests to navigating dietary restrictions, as an opportunity to create something truly personal. Loyalty runs deep in how he shows up for his team each day, believing that the people he works alongside deserve the same intentionality he brings to his craft. Macke's resilience turns pressure into artistry on the plate.

He lives for those moments of impact, subtle or grand, that shift someone's day in a meaningful direction. A former drumline captain who still taps along to songs in his head and considers karaoke a legitimate passion, he brings rhythm, energy, and a little joy into every room he walks into.
