Rooted in the spirit of aloha, Lindsey’s journey began in Hawaii, where a deep sense of cultural pride was instilled from an early age. A hula dancer since childhood, his very first job at age 12 was performing at a luau, an experience that would shape a lifelong calling to serve others and share the richness of Hawaiian culture.
His sister’s enthusiasm while working at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, combined with his awareness of the brand’s reputation as a recognised leader in luxury hospitality, shaped his desire to join the company. Twenty-four years later, he is energised by what he describes as a "triple threat", the science-backed wellness philosophy of Sensei, the cultural richness of Hawaii and Four Seasons service. He’s excited for guests to experience Sensei's three pillars of Move, Nourish and Rest, and leave feeling better than when they arrived.
While used to sunsets at the beach, at Sensei Lanai, he appreciates the uniquely peaceful, almost magical experience of watching the sun set over the nearby pastures after strolling through the Resort’s gardens.
Outside the resort, Lindsey is often found in the water with a paddle in hand and family around, where the ocean both grounds and reminds him of what matters most in life. He’s also known to break out a little hula or pick up a ukulele when the moment seems right, leading with the same three words he lives by: positive, passionate and fun.
