With more than a decade of hospitality experience, Anna Jarosz brings vast expertise to Four Seasons Hotel Toronto as Head Sommelier. Having learned the importance of wine culture through obtaining the prestigious WSET diploma (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) alongside studying to become a Master of Wine, Anna developed a deep understanding and knowledge of world-renowned flavours. This fuelled her passion to share her knowledge with others as she was appointed a wine educator at George Brown College.
Continuing to strengthen and build upon her impressive professional development, Anna spent time in Italy’s top wine regions, Bordeaux and Piedmont. Having served two vintages in the company of great winemakers, Anna learned the secrets of vinification and viticulture while finetuning her palate for fortified wines. This experience led her to her successful career at a well-established Toronto restaurant, Auberge du Pommier. It is here that Anna curated a world-class beverage program, gaining expertise in operational management and customer service as both the restaurant manager and sommelier.
When Anna is not teaching or studying wine, she enjoys new adventures and nature, preferably horseback riding in the hills of Burgundy. As an avid wine enthusiast, Anna has a natural fascination for finding the next best food and wine pairing.
