In her upcoming role as Director of Public Relations and Communications at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, Ashton will lead a nimble, results-driven PR team within Marketing. She will design campaigns that balance media relations, thought leadership, influencer partnerships, and bespoke activations to create visibility, engagement, and measurable outcomes. “My goal is simple: ensure the Hotel creates experiences defined by genuine care, humanity, and generosity, leaving every guest and community member feeling truly valued,” she adds. “Luxury is not just about opulence—it’s about making every individual feel seen, welcomed, and celebrated.”
Ashton’s love for Four Seasons is long-standing. From Toronto spa days to beachfront getaways, she has experienced the warmth and thoughtful details that define the brand worldwide. Living in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Thailand gave her a unique international perspective and deep appreciation for different cultures, shaping her approach to hospitality. Those experiences instilled an understanding that luxury is a sense of belonging—a feeling that every guest is seen, heard, and cared for.
Moving to Toronto was a turning point. The city’s energy and diversity inspired her, reinforcing her belief in the power of connection and surrounding herself with people who aim to go above and beyond. This dedication to excellence is what Ashton looks forward to aligning with at Four Seasons, where every team member is committed to creating experiences that matter.
Her approach blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. She will collaborate with department leaders to understand each facet of the Hotel experience, identify opportunities to tell compelling stories, and develop campaigns that resonate locally and globally. “Connection is at the core of everything I do,” she explains. “It’s about building meaningful experiences that go beyond the visit, creating loyalty, trust, and lasting impact.”
