The Bar: Warm and Cosy by the Fire
Beirut is as fabulous in the winter season as it is all year round. Steeped in history and architecture, with prominent sights at every turn, Beirut is a timeless city offering a fascinating mix of old and new. But as temperatures continue to drop accompanied by abundant rainfalls, there’s no better refuge in the city than a bar with a roaring fireplace, winter cocktails and delicious cuisine.
Tucked away on the second floor of Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, The Bar offers you a perfect escape from the cold and drizzle with its dramatic, red-hued and comfortable décor. Have a seat at the wood-paneled and brilliantly-lit main Bar or one of the well upholstered armchairs by the fire, and take in the The Bar’s characterful theatre-draped curtains, chandelier and contemporary art pieces while listening to relaxing vocal lounge music.
Then, of course, comes The Bar's main attractions. A new launched menu featuring international and fusion cuisine to get your fill of warm fare. We personally recommend the spicy tiger prawns and gai pad med dish - our spicy winter warmers - paired with a dark sumatra martini or smoky scotch prepared by the man himself, Joe Abi Raji, our phenomenally creative bartender who works hard to piece together some of the best winter cocktails Beirut has seen. His own interpretation of mulled wine is a must try as well, and will surely bring colour to your cheeks.
For cigar aficionados a wide range of cigars are also available to enjoy with an impressive range of brandy, high-end cognac and rare single malts.
Open daily from 1:00 pm to 2:00 am, The Bar has become the go to place when the weather turns cold, but make sure you join us early to guarantee the warmest armchair or sofa spot.
