Local Scents Revitalize In-Room Amenities

The luxuriously moisturizing properties of the kukui nut, sourced from the islands, grace the bath amenities at Four Seasons Resort Lanai. ʻĀina, the Hawaiian word for "land" or "that which feeds," offers guests an authentic experience with a custom scent reflecting natural, modern and regional elements. Kukui – or candlenut – oil is a key ingredient in the amenity line. High in vitamins A, E and F, it enhances conditioning and protects against elements such as sun, salt and wind. Additional components include pineapple and awapuhi (Hawaiian white ginger) extracts, aloe vera, shea butter and cucumber.
The amenity line, produced exclusively for the resort by LATHER, is made from unique, natural ingredients, pure essential oils and is paraben- and cruelty-free. The Resort sought a socially and ecologically advanced bath collection supporting local ingredients, the environment, and Hawaiian culture to align with its sustainability goals. Four Seasons Resort Lanai is committed to preserving and regenerating the environment and leaving a positive, enduring impact on the local community.
ʻĀina features refillable ceramic covers with inner bottles made from 100 percent ocean-bound plastic for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, moisturizer and after-sun lotion. Cartons made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper contain a body bar, unscented glycerin face bar, bath salts and a shampoo bar.
The amenities can be enjoyed at home - contact spa.manele@fourseasons.com for orders.
