Poolside Pleasures

Relaxation is close at hand at Four Seasons Resort Lanai with a lagoon-style free-form central pool featuring a cascading waterfall and two whirlpools. Set apart is an adults-only retreat, where waterfalls and lava rock grottos echo Lāna‘i’s dramatic cliffs. And our handy Do Not Disturb markers ensure that quiet time at the pool stays that way – guests can simply flip the stones over when they are ready to order light refreshments or book dinner later that evening.

For privacy, perhaps a Sanctuary is the spot for you.  Guests can reserve one of our eight Sanctuaries scattered throughout the pool area. Enjoy comfortable couches and oversized lounge chairs, as well as spa treatments, private dining and more. A variety of packages are available, including welcome cocktails, chilled wine, fresh fruit, a waterproof camera or a COOLA Sun Care Kit.

From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm pool attendants regularly stop by to offer treats such as agave lemonade, frozen grapes or pineapple, fruit or coffee smoothies, magazines, complimentary personal-size sunscreen and water coolers to enhance your day in paradise.

And be sure to look out for Dr. Shades providing the utmost in poolside service. Dr. Shades, the Resort’s in-house doctor, will clean, repair and heal guests’ sunglass wounds. From Ray-Ban to Chanel and Gucci, the doctor has seen it all and has a remedy. While Dr. Shades may not have a medical license per se, he has the expertise to keep those baby blues protected from the glistening Hawaiian sun. The doctor’s urgent sunglass care allows guests to not miss a Lanai moment, such as dolphin dancing in the bay, due to a smudge or scratch. Catch the doctor making his rounds poolside daily between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
