Guests at Eclipse will discover deeply satisfying Asian cuisine courtesy of Executive Sous Chef Christian Buenrostro. The talented Four Seasons veteran crafts every dish of the eclectic menu to be full of unique and exotic flavours that refresh and invigorate. His ocean-inspired classic, the poke bowl is one of such dishes with the freshest salmon and tuna. He recommends enjoying it poolside in a cabana to get the full sensory effect of the dish.

This season, Chef Christian made sure the new Eclipse dinner menu appeals to all. He has added salmon tataki (tuna belly with sriracha caviar) to the selection of appetisers along with the aromatic air bread wagyu beef pocket and his childhood favourite the charred sweet corn salad.  Guests can choose from 11 various types of tempura, sashimi, maki and nigiri before delving into a hot selection of five carefully curated main dishes. Chef Christian firmly believes that his signature wagyu sirloin should always be included in the order when dining at Eclipse.

Sweet tooth guests are welcome to sample any of the seven various types of masterfully crafted desserts such as the best seller peanut caramel bar with homemade salted caramel, or the Japanese sticky rice cake mochi in six district flavours – all courtesy of Executive Pastry Chef Rasika Mahina.

A true master of his craft, Restaurant and Lounge Manager Altaf Shaikh brings a wealth of experience to the table, having worked at both Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai and Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. At Eclipse Terrace Lounge, he has created a venue where the atmosphere is spot-on day or night.

It is all about the angles, and at Eclipse guests will have many gram-worthy spots to take their Four Seasons shot. Altaf recommends guests to pick out a spot at the corner of the pool for pinnacle views of Four Seasons, Al Maryah Island and the Arabian Gulf.

A favourite night of the week is the ever-popular Ladies’ Night every Thursday, which has a vibrant party vibe created by a live DJ, two complimentary beverages and dreamy evening views. “It is Abu Dhabi’s best party. You can’t beat the panoramic views and the atmosphere is amazing with our in-house DJ mixing the latest tracks. Our team of mixologists craft the perfect beverages to keep the party buzzing,” says Shaikh.

Master mixologist Luigi Landi is much adored not only for his warm personality, stories and sense of humour but also for something unique. Guests are introduced to the world of magic through his signature cocktails as they all come with a show, a front row seat to magical mixology. His favourite is the Disappearing Lemon, an Italian gioco involving four shakers, slices of lemon, and a ton of smiles.
