From Sea to Table: A Fresh, Local Fish Market Experience at the Beach Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria

As the morning starts to lighten up, and the fishermen gather at the local market to sell their catch of the day, this marks the kick-off a great experience at the Beach Restaurant and Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano. 

Executive Chef Adam Levay makes it a priority to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience where quality and freshness are the keys for an Alexandrian fish market with a Four Seasons twist every Friday and Saturday. 

"I go to the fish market early morning to make sure I hand-pick the freshest selection of fishes and seafood from the local market that Alexandria and the Mediterranean are famous for," explains Adam. "Guest will be able to choose from a wide selection of jumbo shrimps, calamari, octopus, red mullets, sea bass, groupers and snappers just to name a few, displayed on the ice bar. Guests will also choose their favourite cooking style, whether in the oven, grilled, fried or singary, which is the famous Alexandrian way; and finally order their favourite sauce and side dishes to be served with the fish." 

The Beach Restaurant and Lounge is located on the Hotel’s private beach with stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea where are the family will be entertained and younger guests will enjoy a kid-friendly space along with recreational activities. It is the spot to enjoy fresh air, magical sunset and excellent dining.
