Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla Celebrates Summer with All Things Anguilla 2019

Summertime is filled with long days of sunshine and a variety of holidays, both American and Anguillian.  Four Seasons Resort Anguilla kicks the celebration up a notch this year with special programming focusing on the history and culture of Anguilla. Guests will learn about island culinary traditions with hands-on cooking classes; history presentations by a local historian and parliamentarian; island domino lessons; SOCA fitness classes; and more May 1 through August 24, 2019.  

Sun-seeking vacationers eager to learn more about Caribbean island culture while unwinding on the property’s luxurious white sand beaches and tranquil blue waters will find plenty of reason to celebrate on Anguilla this summer.

Sea Anguilla Boat Excursions

Guests take to the open waters with the Resort’s Anguilla Ambassador and discover the history of the island from the Caribbean Sea. On this two-hour excursion guests visit the famous Arch of Anguilla, stop in Sandy Ground to tour the historic salt pond, visit Little Bay and return with a wealth of Anguilla knowledge. 

Taste of Anguilla

  • Weekly

Chefs, bartenders, and local artisans share a sample of true Anguilla flavours, refreshments, and take-home gifts at Half Shell Beach Bar on Barnes Bay. This two-hour, beach-casual gathering will help guests experience a feel and taste of the island.

Memorial Day Weekend (American)

  • May 24–27

Kick off summer with spectacular dining options, fitness classes, water sports and specials for the family. Throughout the weekend, enjoy culinary specials in all the restaurants including a daytime food bazaar and live entertainment on Meads Bay Beach. 

Anguilla Day Celebration

  • May 30

Celebrate the beautiful island of Anguilla with a traditional Anguillan BBQ at Bamboo Bar & Grill while watching the annual boat races and listening to Caribbean-style music from a local DJ.

Anguilla Wellness Weekend

  • June 6-9 (Global Wellness Day is June 8)

Guests can learn SOCA dancing from the island pros, work out with Anguillian trainers, walk miles of beaches, take spin classes, beachfront yoga and Pilates, and rest weary muscles with local remedies in the Spa and in the restaurants.

July 4th Festivities

  • July 3–6

Spend an unforgettable Fourth of July with all-American burgers and beachside bonfires. Sunset Lounge will be hosting special live performances by Omalie 360 and DJ Sugar while adding a spark to the night with fierce fireworks over the beach.

Anguilla Summer Carnival

To end the summer on a tropical note, enjoy live music at the Sunset Lounge with the taste of Caribbean tapas specials.

Additionally, guests looking for an extraordinary vacation experience can visit the property’s notable Sea Centre and Sports Pavilion for access to a variety of activities such as windsurfing, paddle boarding, pro tennis lessons and rock climbing, while little find adventures at Kids For All Seasons (KFAS).
