While summer holidays for the children of Anguilla may be here, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla is keeping one step ahead of the new term with the return of its local back-to-school "Books & Bins" initiative this summer.

In what has now become an annual tradition, Four Seasons Resort Anguilla will once again partner with local elementary schools on the island to ensure students are equipped with fresh school supplies for the new school year. The initiative is supported by guests visiting the Resort throughout the summer who are encouraged to write a personal note to students for the year ahead and bring a book or educational game of their choice to add to the oversized bins.

More than 1400 children are expected to benefit from the initiative across six local elementary schools: Adrian T. Hazell Primary, Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary, Morris Vanterpool Primary, Orealia Kelly Primary, Valley Primary, and Vivien Vanterpool Primary. The items collected in the bins over the coming months will then be delivered to each school by Four Seasons Anguilla Executive Team ahead of students returning to the classrooms in September.

“We are always eager to give back to our local community and supporting education on our island remains extremely important to us,” comments Diego Angarita, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Anguilla. “Books & Bins is an initiative that we are incredibly proud of and to know that we can bring joy to local children after a challenging year is an honour.”
