Celebrate Bastille Day with a Four Seasons Hotel Austin Lawn Party

Pop the bubbly, Four Seasons Hotel Austin and award-winning Champagne house Veuve Clicquot invite locals and guests to one of Austin’s most magnifique Bastille Day parties.

Celebrating its new stand-up paddle-boarding experience, the Austin hotel will host a full day of activities – all with Veuve Clicquot’s bubbles to pair – on July 14, 2019 in honour of French National Day.

Bastille Day Brunch

From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, an expansive brunch spread featuring dozens of dishes that pair well with Champagne will be complemented by live music and lawn games such as corn hole, giant Jenga and Champong. A dessert bar stocked with Champagne macarons and Veuve Clicquot-inspired sweets will also be on display, and guests will have the option to upgrade their USD 1 Mimosas to Veuve Clicquot Champagne served in the brand’s signature yellow flutes.

YELLOW Hour

The outdoor fun will continue throughout the afternoon, capped by a special Veuve Clicquot Champagne-inspired happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Ciclo. When not listening to live music or trying their hand at Champong, guests can nosh on the downtown Austin restaurant’s regular menu of USD 3 sweets, USD 4 snacks and USD 5 drinks. A special menu of Champagne-paired dishes will also be offered, along with savings on Veuve Clicquot Rosé and Yellow Label by the glass and bottle, to mark the occasion.

Now Boarding

The Bastille Day festivities highlight the launch of the new Four Seasons stand-up paddle-boarding experience with Veuve Clicquot, which launches that day. Available year-round, the high-end activity features use of custom paddle-boards and three different levels of fun:

• Yellow Label Experience: This baseline package includes up to two hours of stand-up paddle-boarding, followed by a dockside greeting with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
• Rosé Experience: After paddle-boarding, guests taking part in this package will be presented with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and escorted to the pool for a refreshing Veuve Clicquot Rosé and charcuterie pairing.
• Grand Dame Experience: An exciting adventure from start to finish, this best-of-the-best package includes a morning or afternoon of paddle-boarding, a post-SUP glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and, the pièce de résistance, an exclusive dinner built around the award-winning Champagne house.
