July 20, 2020,
Baltimore, U.S.A.

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore has reopened its doors with added health and safety measures in place to ensure the comfort of all guests. Features of the new preferred spa experience include wellness screenings, touchless therapies, and private rooms. With more 10,200 square feet (950 square metres) of space to relax, including 11 individual spacious treatment rooms and two relaxation areas, The Spa offers several places for guests to unwind while physically distancing.

Touchless Therapies and Energy Healing

A signature treatment at The Spa is the Hypervolt Recovery treatment. Unlike traditional massage, instead of receiving the treatment from a therapist’s hands, the vibrations come from the handheld percussive device. Vibrations from the device provide relaxation while also assisting to revive and recover the body. Spa guests can also experience therapeutic care from Reiki, an ancient Japanese healing therapy, which uses universal life force energy to promote healing, stress reduction and relaxation.

Relaxation Areas

At The Spa’s private men’s and women’s relaxation areas, guests can relax in the spacious sanctuary that includes wave loungers offering memory foam cushioning and sheer white curtains defining separate seating areas. Each light-filled room is complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the harbor and city skyline, providing the perfect setting to relax in peace.

Women’s and men’s separate locker rooms also provide space to leisurely get ready, pre and post treatment. Guests can enjoy private changing rooms, spacious vanity areas, and an outdoor whirlpool, cabanas, and shallow splash pad.

Private Spaces

With 8 deluxe treatment rooms, 2 suites with floor-to-ceiling harbor views and private soaking tubs, and a couples’ suite with an outdoor private terrace, guests at The Spa can enjoy having their own private space for their spa treatments.

Safety

The health and wellbeing of Spa guests and employees is always of top priority. All Spa guests will undergo a thermal temperature check and verbal wellness screening prior to entering the facility. Masks are required to be worn by guests and Spa team members throughout all areas of The Spa, including during the treatments, and additional staff is on site for frequent, enhanced cleaning of the facilities. The dedicated Spa team is committed to providing a spa experience that is safe, comfortable and enjoyable for all guests. Treatments are available daily between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
