Featuring a cosy waterfront retreat, including an outdoor skating rink, cabanas, and decadent winter treats for everyone to enjoy
November 16, 2021,
Baltimore, U.S.A.

Open from November 26, 2021 through January 2022, the annual outdoor Winter Village returns as a limited-time pop-up experience curated by Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore. The rooftop Harbor Terrace – a preferred location for pool goers and weddings during the summer months – will once again transform into a winter wonderland. The skating rink will take centre stage accented by semi-private cabanas, sleek fire pits, and festive décor.

Outdoor Rooftop Skating Rink

A picturesque venue for taking photos, the Hotel’s fifth-floor terrace will transform back into an 1,800 square foot (165 square metre) synthetic skating rink with sweeping views of the harbor and city skyline.

The rink features a hi-tech polyurethane composite skating rink custom built by Minnesota-based KwikRink Synthetic Ice. This state-of-the-art synthetic ice is environmentally friendly and provides 90 percent of the speed of real ice.

Semi-Private Cabanas

An addition to the Winter Village experience are five new semi-private cabanas. A perfect option for families and groups of four, each cabana is designed with luxurious comfort in mind and features blankets, pillows, and its own television screen and fire pit. Each cabana is available for a two-hour rental.

Winter Village Treats

Designed to celebrate holiday food and beverage favourites, the menu created by Executive Chef Norma Whitt includes a sweet and savoury crepes station, Bavarian pretzel sticks with white cheddar sauce, assorted cookies, hot chocolate topped with house-made marshmallows, hot apple cider, seasonal handcrafted cocktails, wine, and local brews.

Giving Back

In the spirit of giving, Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore will donate a percentage of earnings from the Winter Village to the Ulman Foundation. The funds raised will be used to support the foundation’s mission to help change lives by creating a community of supports for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer.

Whether with loved ones or friends, join in the festivities this season. The Winter Village is available for individual reservations and private events via Tock, or take the elevator home by booking the Winter on the Waterfront offer. To learn more, call the Hotel directly at 410 576 5800. Reservations are encouraged due to limited availability, but not required. Guests of the Winter Village will enjoy complimentary skate rental, the choice of hot chocolate or apple cider, and an individual bag of house-made warm trail mix.
