Mediterranean Delights at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru

An array of delicious, fresh eats inspired by the Med coast

Inspired by the areas bordering the Mediterranean, this style of cuisine is considered to be light, fresh and delicious. Based on the traditional cuisines of Spain, Italy, Greece and other countries that border the Mediterranean coastline, the cornerstone of this spread is unmanipulated freshness. Think whole grains, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices with flavoursome meats and fish.

Delicious appetisers offered at CUR8 at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru include such as arancini al funghi, croquetas de pollo and patatas bravas make a befitting opening statement. Fresh salads such as young and tender mesclun, walnuts, cranberry, charred tenderloin salad and zaatar chicken salad set the stage for goat cheese spinach tortellini, sea bass meuniere and other hearty mains ending on a sweet crescendo with crema catalana made with Valencia oranges and a perfectly, flaky mille feuille or fondant au chocolat served with French vanilla ice cream.

“Mediterranean cuisine is all about simple, clean flavours presented cleverly. For thousands of years, people have embraced this style of culinary preparation. Rooted in its tradition influenced through myriad cultures, it allows fresh, bountiful ingredients to shine bright in the dishes,” says Anirudh Amin, Chef de Cuisine, who is the front-runner from the culinary team and the force behind this showcase.
